Description

AAR is a pioneering initiative in Adventure tourism, representing a public-private partnership between the Albanian Rafting Federation and the Ministry of Education and Sports. This multi-sports center aims to provide diverse activities and educational programs to foster sustainable tourism in Albania, with a mission to “Transform lives by celebrating the best of Albania.”

Activities

Visitors can enjoy a wide range of activities at AAR, including 2.5 hours of rafting, 3 hours of trekking and swimming, and 3 hours of guided tours to historic sites like Argirocastro. Excursions to places like the Antigonea archaeological park, Saraqinisht village, and Spille monastery promise an enriching experience. The campground provides all necessary gear for white water activities such as rafts, neoprene suits, life jackets, helmets, and paddles. Hydrospeed, a thrilling water sport, is also available for adventurers seeking a unique adrenaline rush.

The founders of AAR, including the influential figures like Zamo Spathara and Gazmend Shehu, have curated a list of outdoor activities for guests. These activities include kayaking, hiking, horseback riding, and instructional sessions on various sports.
