Located just one mile from the west entrance of Glacier National Park in West Glacier, Montana, Glacier Campground is a family-owned and operated campground celebrating its 41st year in 2025. With a commitment to preserving the traditional camping experience, this heavily wooded, 40-acre campground immerses guests in the natural beauty of the surrounding Flathead National Forest.

Accommodations

The campground offers a variety of cabins tailored to suit different group sizes:

• Cabin 1 – 4: Medium size with a double bed and a set of twin bunks; sleeps 4
• Cabin 10: Small Deluxe with a queen bed, mini fridge, and microwave; sleeps 2
• Cabin 5: Large cabin with a queen bed and twin above with a set of twin bunks, mini fridge, and microwave; sleeps 5
• Cabin 6: Small with a double bed, mini fridge, and microwave; sleeps 2
• Cabin 7: Large with two double beds, mini fridge, microwave, and tent pad; sleeps 4
• Cabin 8: Medium with a queen bed and twin above; sleeps 3
• Cabin 9: Large with a queen bed, twin above and a set of twin bunks, mini fridge, and microwave; sleeps 5

RV and Tent Sites

Guests can reserve tent and RV sites that provide the perfect blend of privacy and nature:

• Maximum RV/Trailer Length: 32 feet (not including the tow vehicle)
• Electricity: Each tent site includes 20amp electric. Water is available at each site, but sewage hookups are not provided.
• Parking: One vehicle can park at each site, with additional overflow parking available near the office.

Amenities

Glacier Campground is equipped with essential amenities for a comfortable stay:

• Bathhouses: Two bathhouses (large & small) offering hot/cold water with flushing toilets, open 24/7 during the season.
• Laundry Facilities: Coin-operated washers and dryers available in the large bathhouse, with cleaning occurring daily from 11am to 2pm.
• Campfire Facilities: Each site includes a fire pit; firewood is available for purchase at the office.
• Sunflower Cafe: An on-site cafe serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner; popular among campers and locals alike.
• WiFi: Available around the office patio area and at the cafe, but not at campsites.

Group and Multisite Reservations

When planning family reunions or group outings, Glacier Campground offers options for group reservations. Group site holds can be arranged through campground staff, and payment structure is simple:

• Group reservations can’t be created online and need to be coordinated with staff.
• Individual sites can be claimed by group members who will be responsible for their reservation.

• Check-In: 11 AM, with a check-out time of 11 AM on the day of departure.
