Kidds Bush Reserve Campsite is conveniently located on Meads Road, which is a gravel road that can become narrow and steep in certain areas. The site is situated approximately 40 minutes (32 km) north of Wānaka off SH6 and offers breathtaking views and ample opportunities for outdoor activities. Whether you’re looking to explore the natural surroundings or simply relax by the lake, this campsite has something to offer everyone.

• Camp Sites: The campsite features 40 non-powered/tent sites, perfect for pitching your tent and connecting with nature.
• Toilets: Currently, portable toilets are available, with plans for a new toilet block in the future.
• Fires: Fires are strictly prohibited at this campground, ensuring the natural landscape remains pristine.
• Facilities: Please note there is no tap water available during the winter months.
• Nature Walk: The Kidds Bush Nature Walk begins right at the campsite, offering a great way to explore the surrounding beauty.

Reservations are essential as Kidds Bush Reserve Campsite operates on a first-come, first-served basis. Bookings must be made online before occupying a site. A service fee applies for phone and in-person bookings, and availability is highly limited, especially between Boxing Day and early February.
