Nestled on the picturesque shores of Carlyle Lake in Southern Illinois, the Lotus Group Area offers an idyllic retreat for groups seeking a blend of nature, recreation, and relaxation. This secluded group campground is perfect for family gatherings, team-building outings, or any large group event, accommodating up to 80 people at a time.

• Five enclosed mini shelters equipped with electricity
• Five additional campsites with electrical hookups
• A large enclosed shelter with tables, electricity, and nearby water access
• A spacious fire ring for evening gatherings
• A playground area for children to enjoy
• Restroom facilities with vault toilets

Reservations are required for the Lotus Group Area, and due to construction efforts scheduled for the off-season, reservations will not be accepted until approximately April 1, 2025.

Important reminders: Please follow guidelines regarding firewood; only locally sourced firewood should be used to protect the surrounding forests from invasive pests.
