Conveniently located just a short drive or cycle from the vibrant town of Bude, Mount Pleasant Camping is easily accessible, making it a perfect base for exploring the breathtaking landscapes and beaches of North Cornwall. The campsite is situated alongside a public footpath that leads directly to Poughill village, where you can enjoy local amenities and a warm welcome at the village pub, The Preston Gate.

Pitches and Pricing

• Pitches for tents and camper vans starting from £22 per night (for 2 people).
• Extra adult: £11
• Extra child: £6
• Electric hookup available for an additional £6 per night.
• Maximum of 6 people per pitch.

The site offers a total of 10 grass pitches, including options for electric hookup. Each pitch measures approximately 8m x 10m, with one specially designed for camper vans measuring 5m x 18m.

Facilities

Mount Pleasant Camping is equipped with essential facilities to enhance your stay:

• Toilets: Two unisex toilets with lighting, hot water, sanitary bins, and hand dryers.
• Drinking Water: Freshwater tap is conveniently located outside.
• Waste Management: Wheelie bins for general waste and recycling, along with designated bins for BBQ disposal.
• Showers and Pot Wash Area: Available for your comfort during your stay.

Site Rules and Etiquette

To ensure a pleasant experience for all guests, we have established a set of campsite rules:

• Arrival times are between 12:00pm and 7:00pm, with departure by 11:00am.
• Quiet Hours: Please keep noise to a minimum from 10:00pm to 8:00am.
• Well-behaved dogs are welcome (maximum of 2 per pitch) but must be kept on a lead.
• Barbecues and small fires are allowed in a metal container, raised off the grass.
• No climbing on fences or hanging items from them.

We encourage guests to respect their fellow campers and the beautiful surroundings by adhering to the campsite guidelines.
