Accommodations

• Bunkhouse Cabins (106 & 108): Designed to comfortably sleep up to 8 guests, these cabins feature a full kitchen equipped with a cooktop, a full-size refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, and large bathroom, ensuring guests have all the comforts of home.
• Two-Bedroom Cabins (109 & 110): Perfect for smaller families, these cabins sleep up to 4 guests and include a full kitchen and large bath for added convenience.
• Efficiency Cabins (101, 102, 103, 104): Each of these cabins accommodates up to 4 guests, equipped with a large bathroom, small refrigerator, microwave, and coffee pot.

Campground Features

• Designated Campsites: The campground includes 26 total sites, all back-in only, accommodating both tents and RVs. A maximum of two camping units is allowed per site, with specific limitations on tent usage.
• Recreational Opportunities: Enjoy activities such as fishing, boating, hiking, biking, and birding in and around the lake. Additionally, there’s a network of multi-use trail systems connecting Oak Thicket Park and nearby Park Prairie Park, offering further exploration into natural habitats.
• Day Use Area: Perfect for picnics and outdoor fun, the park features a large outdoor pavilion equipped with picnic tables, grills, and electricity, suitable for gatherings of up to 60 people.
• Pet-Friendly Policy: Pets are welcome, but specific rules apply to their management within the park to ensure a pleasant experience for all guests.

Park Regulations

To maintain a safe and enjoyable environment, Oak Thicket Park has established several regulations:

• Campsites are available on a reservation system. Advance booking is advisable to ensure a spot.
• All campfires must be contained in metal fire rings, using only pre-cut firewood sourced from within the county.
• Noise Restrictions: Quiet hours are enforced from 10 PM to 6 AM to maintain a peaceful atmosphere.
• All guests must display a valid parking pass, and a maximum of three vehicles are allowed per campsite.
• Check-in is at 3:00 PM, and check-out is at 11:00 AM. No early check-ins or check-outs permitted.
