Located in the picturesque central Kansas, Riverside Campground sits gracefully on the Smoky Hill River, just downstream from the historic Kanopolis Lake. Riverside Campground is designed to accommodate outdoor enthusiasts with 24 well-maintained campsites, which include:
- 16 campsites with electric and water hookups
- 8 primitive campsites
- Flush toilets, drinking water, and hot showers
- Playground facilities for children
- Dump station for RV waste
- Direct river access for fishing and boating
Campsite Options
The campground features a variety of campsites to cater to different preferences:
- Standard Electric Sites (001-009, 018-026, 023-024, 025)
- Standard Nonelectric Sites (010-011, 015-017, 021, 027-028)
- Group Shelter (P06) with Nonelectric option
Seasonal Availability
Electricity is typically available from April 1 to April 30 and from October 1 to November 30. However, water and waterborne restroom facilities may be closed during freezing temperatures. A vault restroom remains open year-round for convenience.
