Located in the scenic heart of Gatlinburg, TN, the Smoky Bear Campground offers an exceptional outdoor experience surrounded by the beauty of the Great Smoky Mountains. With convenient access to local attractions while nestled in a tranquil setting, this campground is an ideal retreat for families, couples, and solo adventurers alike.

Accommodations

• Cabins: A variety of cabins are available, accommodating from 2 to 5 guests. Each cabin is equipped with air conditioning and heating, outdoor charcoal grills, fire rings, and picnic tables. Some restrictions on pet occupancy apply.
• RV Sites: The campground features spacious 46 full-hookup sites with water, sewer, electric (30 & 50 amp service), basic cable, and free WiFi. Sites are designed to offer a shady and roomy environment with concrete pads and ample space.
• Tent Sites: A limited number of primitive tent sites are available, offering a more rustic camping experience while still providing access to all park amenities.

• Community Clubhouse: A full kitchen and heated space that accommodates up to 70 people, perfect for RV rallies and family reunions.
• Swimming Pool: Relax in the seasonal swimming pool, open daily during warmer months.
• Hot Tub: Available seasonally for a soothing experience after a day of adventures.
• Bathhouse: Well-maintained and wheelchair accessible, featuring 24-hour access from March through November.
• Fire Rings: Available at each site for campfires, ensuring the classic camping experience.
• Playground: A safe and fun area for children to play and explore.
• Pet-Friendly Options: Pets are welcome in designated cabins and must be leashed at all times; however, pets are not allowed in tent sites.
• Laundry Facilities: On-site laundry room accessible 24/7 during peak season.
• Convenience Store: Offers snacks, gifts, souvenirs, and essential camping supplies.
• Free Lending Library: Enjoy the option of borrowing books and DVDs during your stay.

Policies & Reservations

Check-in time for campground sites is at 1:00 pm, with check-out by 12:00 pm. Cabins are available for check-in at 2:00 pm and must be vacated by 11:00 am. Reservations can be made by contacting the campground directly.

Cancellation Policy: A 10-day notice is required for RV and tent site cancellations, while a 21-day notice is necessary for cabin cancellations, subjecting to applicable fees.

Pets are permitted in cabins (with exclusions for certain cabin types), and a pet fee applies. All guests must be mindful of quiet hours from 10:00 pm to 9:00 am to ensure a peaceful experience for everyone.
