Stolle Meadows Cabin is a beautifully restored historic dwelling located in the scenic Boise National Forest. Nestled at an elevation of 5,300 feet and surrounded by a mixed-growth lodgepole pine forest, this charming single-room cabin offers guests a unique opportunity to reconnect with nature while enjoying modern amenities.

Cabin Features

This cozy cabin provides all the essentials for a comfortable stay, including:

  • Sleeping Accommodations: One double bed and a twin trundle bed with mattresses.
  • Kitchen Essentials: A propane cooking stove with fuel, pots and pans, dishes, and tableware.
  • Heating: A wood stove with firewood available for warmth and ambiance.
  • Utilities: Solar lights (it is recommended to bring additional lighting) and a dry sink.
  • Safety Supplies: A first aid kit is provided for emergencies.
  • Outdoor Amenities: An outhouse with a vault toilet, a picnic table, and drinking water available from a hand pump outside the cabin.

Note: Bedding and pillows are not provided, and this is a pack-it-in/pack-it-out facility, meaning guests must bring garbage bags to pack out trash.

Accessibility and Use

The cabin is accessible by a drivable route in warmer months, whereas winter access requires a ski or snowmobile trek of 6.5 miles. Please ensure you have the cabin combination upon arrival, which is included in the reservation confirmation letter. It is important to confirm the combination prior to arrival for a seamless experience.
