Camping Features and Amenities

• Tent-Only Campsite: Wealdings is exclusively a tent camping site, ensuring a tranquil atmosphere. All vehicles are required to park in designated car parks.
• Variety of Pitch Options: Select from small, large, and unique pitches including options like pondside and streamside locations, each designed for your comfort and privacy.
• On-Site Facilities: Features like hot showers, hand washing areas, and a washing-up station ensure a comfortable stay.
• Fire Pit and BBQ: Each pitch is equipped with a ragstone fire pit for campfires and BBQs, although these must be supervised at all times.
• Dog-Friendly Environment: Dogs of all breeds are welcome, with a dedicated off-lead area for secure play, provided that dogs are well-socialized.
• Parking Options: Two car parks are available—an on-site car park and an off-site alternative for large vehicles or when the ground is wet.

Wealdings captures the essence of a working farm with its regeneratively farmed fields. You’ll find ancient relics on the property and have opportunities to witness local wildlife, including sheep, foxes, and various birds. The site features an exciting dog walking field dubbed “Wealding’s Woofers,” allowing dogs to roam freely, enhancing the camping experience for dog owners.

Safety and Regulations

For a cohesive camping experience, several guidelines are in place:

• Fire Safety: Fires are allowed only in designated fire pits and must never be left unsupervised. Campers must bring their own fuel and comply with fire safety regulations.
• Pet Etiquette: While dogs can roam within the pitch area, they must be kept on leads throughout the campsite and must not chase livestock.
• Safety Protocols: Hand sanitizers are available in high-traffic areas, and strict noise regulations are in place to ensure all campers can relax peacefully.

Booking and Pricing

Wealdings operates on a simple and flexible booking system. Campsite pricing starts from:

• £12 for up to 3 nights
• £19 for stays of 4 nights or more

A £50 deposit is held to secure your booking, refundable upon adherence to the campsite’s guidelines upon checkout.
