  • Size: 12×14 ft. pan-abode style cabin
  • Accommodation: Sleeps up to 6 guests with 2 single bunks and 2 double bunks
  • Amenities: Table with benches, cooking counter, food storage, cleaning equipment, and a woodstove for heat
  • Restroom Facilities: Outhouse located nearby

Access and Location

Wilson View Cabin is accessible exclusively by float plane and is situated at the north end of Wilson Lake. Please note that access by helicopter is illegal in this designated Wilderness area. The scenic ride over the lake offers stunning views of the surrounding wild landscape. Depending on seasonal conditions, particularly from fall to early spring, the cabin may be inaccessible due to a frozen lake surface.

Set against the backdrop of rugged mountain peaks and dense evergreen forests, Wilson Lake is not just a scenic haven but also teeming with wildlife. Visitors may spot:

  • Sitka black-tailed deer
