Zips Place Cabin is located 48 miles east of Hungry Horse, Montana, in a serene and picturesque area that was originally homesteaded in 1937. The cabin itself was constructed in 1954 by the Kimmet family, solidifying its history within the region. Surrounded by towering lodgepole pines and Douglas fir trees, and backed by a small stream, this location promises peace and tranquility.

  • Check-in/Check-out: Check-in time is at 2 PM, while check-out is at 12 PM.
  • Stay Limit: Guests may stay for a maximum of three consecutive nights, with a total of seven nights allowed per calendar year.
  • Food Storage: Bears frequent the area; it’s essential to keep all food and garbage securely stored inside the cabin.
  • Cleanliness: Guests are expected to bring garbage bags and remove all trash upon departure.
  • Mice Presence: The cabin may have mice; measures to minimize food crumbs and trapping supplies are provided.
  • Weather Policy: No refunds will be given for inclement weather.
