Available Campsites

Burning Bear Campground features 13 campsites that accommodate various camping preferences, including RV, trailer, and tent camping. Each site is equipped with:

• Vault toilets
• Drinking water (limited availability)
• Picnic tables
• Grills

Please note that the parking aprons are composed of dirt and the campground road may have rough conditions, including potholes and wash-boarding.

Cancellations can be made up to two days before your scheduled arrival with a $10 cancellation fee. Please keep in mind that refunds for debit or credit card payments will be credited back to the original payment source.

To reach Burning Bear Campground, follow these directions:

• Travel south on US Highway 285 towards Fairplay.
• In the town of Grant, turn north on Park County Road 62, towards Guanella Pass.
• Burning Bear Campground is approximately 5 miles north on the right side of the road.
