Welcome to Camping-Caravaning Hiriberria, a family-friendly campsite located in the beautiful Basque Country, between the serene mountains and the stunning coastline of France. Nestled in Itxassou, just a short distance from Cambo les Bains and the colorful town of Espelette, this campground offers an idyllic setting for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts.

Location and Accessibility

The campsite is well-positioned at the foot of the Artzamendi and Mondarrain mountains, providing a gateway to explore the natural beauty of the Basque region. It is conveniently located:

5 km from Espelette, accessible by foot or bicycle.
2.5 km from the thermal baths of Cambo-les-Bains, known for their healing properties.
30 minutes from the coast and approximately 20 minutes from Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port.

Pitches and Facilities

Camping-Caravaning Hiriberria boasts a total of 134 pitches, including:

120 marked camping pitches, each measuring around 100 m², offering both shaded and semi-shaded options.
2 rental PODs, which are charming wooden mobile homes perfect for 2 to 4 people.
12 designated pitches for motorhomes, with sizes ranging from 100 m² to 200 m², accommodating larger vehicles as well.

All pitches come equipped with 10-amp electrical connections and are surrounded by beautifully landscaped hedges to ensure privacy. The campsite features three well-maintained sanitary blocks with private shower and washbasin units for your comfort.

Campsite guests can enjoy a variety of on-site activities and nearby adventures:

A heated swimming pool, shared with the adjacent Hiriberria chalets, available from May to September.
