Nestled along the scenic banks of the Pecos River, Field Tract Campground is a picturesque retreat located just 10 miles north of the village of Pecos, New Mexico. Surrounded by the breathtaking Sangre De Cristo Mountains, this family-friendly destination is ideal for outdoor enthusiasts seeking both relaxation and adventure.

Available Campsites

• Standard Nonelectric Sites: Campsites 001, 002, 004, 005, 006, 009, 010, 011, 012, 013, 014, and 015
• Shelter Nonelectric Sites: Campsites 003, 007, and 008

Each campsite accommodates two vehicles, with an additional fee of $8/day for the second vehicle. Please note that all vehicles must be parked as one trailer pulled by a truck counts as a single vehicle.

Please be aware that Field Tract Campground is currently closed until further notice due to necessary repairs on the shelters. We appreciate your understanding and patience while the facilities are being restored.

Additionally, there are some important rules to keep in mind:

• Animal Alerts: Bears frequent the area—store all food in approved containers.
• Quiet Hours: Observe quiet hours from 10 P.M. to 6 A.M. to ensure a peaceful experience for all guests.
• Pet Policy: Pets must be leashed at all times; no ATVs, ORVs, horses, or horse trailers allowed in the campground.
• Firewood Policy: Firewood is not available; to prevent pest spread, please obtain firewood locally and burn it on-site.
