Owned and operated by Steve and Carol Guzdial, along with Dave and Debbie Kolmodin, Houghton Lake Travel Park takes pride in providing a friendly atmosphere with clean and safe amenities. Whether you’re here to enjoy nature walks or partake in family activities, you’ll find warmth and hospitality at every turn.

Campground Features

• Spacious Sites: The park features large, pull-through camping sites that accommodate both tents and RVs, complete with water, electricity, sewer, and complimentary Wi-Fi.
• Cabins: For a more comfortable stay, reserve one of our rustic cabins equipped with electricity, air conditioning, and a picnic area. Please note that pets and smoking are not permitted in the cabins.
• Heated Pool: Enjoy our sparkling heated swimming pool, which is regularly maintained at a comfortable temperature, perfect for relaxation and enjoyment by all.
• Playground: Kids can have a blast at the playground, which includes a barefoot sand volleyball court and shuffleboard courts.
• Store and Coffee Shop: On-site convenience with a store offering essentials, snacks, and Hudsonville Ice Cream, perfect for satisfying cravings after a day of activities.

Activities and Events

At Houghton Lake Travel Park, we believe in promoting family togetherness. Join us for special events including:

• Pancake and sausage breakfasts.

Pet Policy

We know pets are an important part of family camping experiences. Houghton Lake Travel Park welcomes well-behaved pets, provided campers adhere to specific guidelines:

• Pets must be on a short leash and cleaned up after.
• They should not be left unattended at any time.
• Pet-friendly areas exist, but pets are not permitted in cabins or the pool area.

Campground Rules and Guidelines

To ensure a pleasant experience for all guests, we have established a few straightforward rules:

• Quiet time is enforced from 10 PM to 8 AM Sunday through Thursday, and from 11 PM to 8 AM on weekends.
• Only one vehicle per campsite unless otherwise approved by management.
• Guests are responsible for keeping their sites clean and must dispose of waste properly.

Reservations

Reservations can be made over the phone or in person, with availability expanding up to one year in advance. Our visitors are treated on a first-come, first-served basis, ensuring fairness for all camping enthusiasts.
