Cabin Features

Both cabins are designed for comfort and convenience:

• Spacious wooden bunk beds that sleep up to six people.
• Essential furnishings including a work counter, table, and chairs.
• Propane heater (propane provided) for warmth.
• Fire extinguisher and smoke detector for safety.

Nestled in a stunning coastal backcountry, both cabins are surrounded by lush vegetation with the opportunity for breathtaking wildlife encounters:

Essential Information

Before setting off on your adventure, please take note of the following recommendations:

• Bring your own cooking stove, utensils, and bedding. A sleeping pad is also recommended for extra comfort.
• Drinking water can be scarce; prepare to bring an adequate supply or have means to treat water from natural sources.
• Campfires are only allowed below the high tide line, and it’s essential to pack out all trash and leftover food.
• All food and scented items must be secured within the cabin to prevent attracting wildlife.

Accessibility & Regulations

These rustic cabins, measuring approximately 16’ x 20’ (5m x 6m), operate on a first-come, first-served basis from Memorial Day Weekend to Labor Day Weekend, with reservations starting January 1st. Note that:

• There are no roads leading to the cabins; travel involves a two-hour boat ride or a 30-minute float plane flight from Seward.
• No electricity or running water is available, ensuring a back-to-basics experience.
• Cell phone coverage is nonexistent in this remote area, emphasizing the need for safety equipment such as marine radios or satellite phones.
• Pets are not allowed in the coastal backcountry or inside public cabins, with service dogs being an exception.
