Campsites and Amenities
Saysutshun’s campground features 18 walk-in campsites located in a serene forested area just a 5-minute walk from the docks. Guests can choose from individual sites next to the ocean or join friends and family in one of the five group campsites that can accommodate up to 50 guests. Amenities include:

- Flush and pit toilets
- Hot showers
- Food lockers to protect supplies from raccoons and other wildlife
- A large day-use area with playground and horseshoe pits
Campsite fees range from $14 to $80 per night, with pre-reservations recommended to ensure availability, particularly during peak season from June to September.

Moorage and Transportation
For boating enthusiasts, the island has berthing facilities for more than 50 boats. Moorage can be arranged on a first-come, first-served basis for a nominal fee. The Saysutshun ferry operates every half hour from Maffeo Sutton Park in Nanaimo, making it easy to access this island oasis.
Rates for mooring include:
- $2.00 per boat length meter per night
- $14.00 per night for buoy mooring
