Available Campsites

The South Shore Recreation Area features well-designed group shelters perfect for gatherings and family events:

  • Iroquois Shelter: Equipped with electric and water hookups, accommodating up to 100 people.
  • Mohawk Shelter: Offers water hookups only, also accommodating up to 100 guests.
  • Oneida Shelter: Features electric and water hookups for convenience, hosting groups of up to 100.

All three shelters are fully accessible, ensuring that visitors of all abilities can enjoy this beautiful lakeside setting.

Location and Access

South Shore Recreation Area is conveniently located just five miles west of Lawrenceville, Pennsylvania. You can easily access the area from US Route 15:

  • From the north, take the Lawrenceville exit and turn left at the bottom of the ramp.
  • From the south, take the Lawrenceville exit and turn right onto State Route 49.
