Located on the scenic shores of Coralville Lake in Solon, Iowa, Sugar Bottom Campground is a paradise for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts. Nestled within a heavily wooded forest of mixed hardwood species, this campground offers an immersive experience in a serene environment, ideal for families and adventure seekers alike. With its abundance of wildlife—including whitetail deer, turkeys, and various species of songbirds—You’ll find yourself surrounded by the beauty of nature.

Available Campsites

The campground features 232 campsites, accommodating a variety of camping preferences:

• Full Hook-Up: Equipped with water and 50 amp electric service.
• Standard Electric Sites: 30 amp electric connections available.
• Walk-To Tent Sites: Ideal for a more rustic camping experience.

Each site accommodates up to 6 occupants and three camping units, which can include one RV and two tents, or three tents. Check-In is at 2:00 P.M. and Check-Out is at 12:00 P.M..

• No parking on grass, roads, or empty campsites.
