Location & Access
The campsite is accessible from State Highway 1, just a 5 km drive north of Waipu or 34 km south of Whangārei. Clear signage will guide your way to this scenic retreat. Visitors are reminded to adhere to vehicle access rules, as restrictions apply to driving on certain beach areas.
Accommodation & Fees
- Sites: The campground features approximately 300 non-powered/tent sites suitable for both solo campers and families.
- Pricing:
- Adults (18+ years): $15 per night
- Children (5-17 years): $7.50 per night
- Infants (0-4 years): Free
- Minimum Stay: A minimum three-night stay is required from December 28 to January 1.
Please note that all bookings must be made online before arriving at the campsite to ensure a smooth check-in process. A service fee of $10 applies to any phone or in-person bookings made on-site, subject to availability.

- Water Safety: Check water quality information for swimming suitability and adhere to safety guidelines, especially around the strong currents of Bream Bay.
