Opening Times
Open from 1st April until 26th October, Baysbrown Farm invites guests to revel in the joys of camping during the warmer months. Please note the access has a narrow entrance with a hump bridge; therefore, it’s important for visitors with longer vehicles to exercise caution.
Campsite Features
- Authentic Camping Experience: Enjoy the freedom of a grass site specifically set up for tents, with no set pitches. Simply arrive, choose your favorite spot, and immerse yourself in nature.
- Facilities: The campsite is equipped with essential facilities including showers, toilets, a washing-up area, bins, and drinking water. A freezer is also available for ice packs.
- Access for Pets: Dogs are welcome, provided they are kept under control and cleaned up after immediately.
- Fire and BBQ Policy: Contained raised fire pits and barbecues are permitted until 11 PM, so guests can enjoy outdoor cooking. However, campfires are not allowed.
- Quiet Hours: To ensure a peaceful environment, the campsite maintains quiet hours from 11 PM to 7 AM, encouraging all guests to respect their neighbors.
- Parking: Guests can park beside their tent in some fields, although this may be restricted in adverse weather conditions.
Pricing and Booking
Baysbrown Farm Campsite operates on a first come first served policy, so reservations are not required. Pricing for the 2025 season is £12.50 per adult per night and £5.00 per child (ages 4-15) per night. There is a minimal stay requirement of 2 nights over bank holiday weekends, which tend to fill up quickly. Late May and August bank holidays are particularly popular.

Please keep in mind that mobile reception can be unreliable in the valley, and there is no Wi-Fi available on site, encouraging guests to completely disconnect and enjoy nature.
Family and Group Policy
This family-friendly campsite can accommodate Duke of Edinburgh students (maximum of 40 students per night), but please note that groups of more than four individuals of the same gender are not permitted. Special arrangements can be made by emailing ahead of time.
