Nestled on a scenic bend of the main channel of the Mississippi River, Blackhawk Park is the largest public use campground in Mississippi’s Pool 9. This campground provides an ideal setting for outdoor enthusiasts, offering a wide array of recreational activities surrounded by nature.

Available Campsites

The campground features a total of 150 campsites, accommodating both RV campers and tent campers. Here are some highlights:

73 campsites with electrical hookups
Allows one camper and one tent or two tents per site, with a maximum capacity of 8 people
All sites equipped with a picnic table and fire ring
Restrooms with flush toilets and showers available in the West Camping loop
Non-electric site reservations are non-site specific; selection occurs upon arrival based on availability

To enhance your camping experience, keep in mind:

Quiet hours are observed from 10 PM to 6 AM; generators are not allowed during these hours.
Pets are welcome but must be kept on a 6-foot leash at all times.
No automobiles, off-road vehicles, or firearms are allowed in the park.
A reminder for campers: please do not move firewood to protect local forests from pests.
