Location and Access
Conveniently located along U.S. Highway 89, the cabin is easily accessible via a well-maintained paved road. However, during the winter season, visitors must prepare for a brief hike of approximately 100 yards from the parking area to the cabin, as wheeled vehicle access is restricted. The cabin is situated just 300 feet from Kings Hill Pass, making it an excellent base for exploring the surrounding natural beauty.
Accommodation Details
- Capacity: Accommodates up to six guests in the cabin.
- Additional Space: One camper, RV or slide-in truck camper allowed on site, accommodating an additional four people (maximum capacity is ten).
- Structure: The two-room cabin includes a combination of three bunk beds and essential amenities.
- Electricity: Cabin is equipped with electric lights, a refrigerator, microwave, and stove.
- Heating: A wood stove provides warmth, with firewood supplied for heating purposes only—note that it should not be used for outside fires.
- Kitchen Supplies: Includes dining table and chairs, pots, pans, dishes, and utensils.
- Sanitary Facilities: A vault toilet is available outside for year-round use.
