Amenities: Each campsite includes picnic tables, a campfire ring for evening gatherings, vault toilets, and drinking water accessible via a hand pump. Parking aprons are gravel-based, accommodating up to two vehicles.

ATVs and off-road vehicles are not permitted in the campground or the surrounding Jefferson Lake Recreation Area.
Dogs must be leashed or tethered at all times while on campground premises.
Shooting of any type is strictly prohibited within campground boundaries.

Reservation Details

Reservations for Aspen Campground can be made up to five days in advance. Sites not reserved five days before arrival are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. A one-time entry fee of $10.00 is required to access Jefferson Lake Recreation Area; visitors will only need to pay this during their stay, making it a cost-effective option for extended visits.

Check-in time is 2:00 PM, and check-out time is 12:00 PM. Please note that due to the high elevation, travelers should exercise caution when arriving from lower altitudes and prepare for limited accessibility during the winter months.
