• Individual Campsites: The site features 9 individual campsites available on a first-come, first-served basis. Each campsite accommodates up to 10 persons and 2 vehicles.
• Group Campsites: Four group campsites are also available, but reservations are mandatory and can be made through recreation.gov. These sites are well-equipped with fire grates, picnic tables, and vault toilets to ensure a comfortable stay.
• Facilities: Each campsite includes essentials such as a fire grate and picnic table. Visitors will find convenient vault toilets located throughout the site.
• Group Site Amenities: Sites A, B, and C offer shade shelters, while Site D caters well to groups with larger motor homes.
• Water and Utilities: Please note that the campground does not provide water, dump stations, or electric hook-ups, encouraging visitors to immerse themselves in a truly rustic experience.

The Gold Bar Recreation Site is easily accessible from Moab. Directions: Drive 5 miles north on Hwy 191 until you reach the intersection with Hwy 279. Turn left onto Hwy 279 and continue for another 10 miles to arrive at the campground entrance road.
