Camping Options

Hontoon Island State Park provides several camping options to suit various preferences:

• Primitive Campsites: Enjoy one of the 12 primitive tent sites, each equipped with a picnic table, ground grill, and access to potable water. Restroom facilities, featuring hot showers and flush toilets, are conveniently located nearby. Sites do not have electricity, enhancing your outdoor experience.
• Cabin Rentals: The park features six rustic cabins with bunk beds, ceiling fans, overhead lighting, and one electrical outlet. Each cabin has a screened porch, picnic table, and ground grill. Cabin rentals require a two-night minimum stay.
• Boat Campsites: Anchor your boat at any of the 42 accessible boat slips, which provide water and shore power. Overnight boat campsite fees apply, along with a nonrefundable reservation fee.
• Group Camping: Organized youth and adult groups can reserve a dedicated camping area accommodating up to 30 people, featuring benches, picnic tables, and a fire circle.
