May Queen Campground provides a variety of campsites to accommodate different needs:

Maximum Accommodation: Up to 3 tents per site, or 1 RV and 2 tents.
Site Types: Individual campsites range from tent-only to standard non-electric sites.
First Come, First Served: Several sites are available on a first-come basis.
Facilities: Each site features a campfire ring and picnic table along with access to vault toilets and trash collection.

Important Information:

Water will not be available at the campground in 2024 — be sure to bring sufficient supplies.
Absolutely no OHVs, ATVs, or dirt bikes are allowed in the campground.
An automatic fee applies for a third vehicle at a nightly rate of $10.
Firearms and fireworks are strictly prohibited.
Please ensure to keep food safe from wildlife by securing it inside vehicles.

Accessing May Queen Campground is straightforward. From Leadville, simply head west on County Road 4 for approximately 9 miles. Visitors should exercise caution due to the high elevation — acclimatization may be necessary for those coming from lower altitudes.
