Located in the picturesque Oost-Achterhoek region of Gelderland, De Hippe Kip offers a cozy and sustainable camping experience tailored for adults (18+) without children. This intimate campsite features just eight places and a dedicated tent area, ensuring a peaceful retreat surrounded by nature.

Campground Features

Autovrij Kampeerveld: The camping area is vehicle-free, with a designated parking space located behind the barn.
Comfortable amenities: The camp has gender-neutral sanitary facilities, including two toilets and two spacious shower cabins with hot and cold water.
Free WiFi: Guests enjoy complimentary access to WiFi throughout the campground.
Environmentally friendly: Waste separation is encouraged with designated bins for glass, paper, plastic, metal, and organic waste.
Unique camping regulations: Only rubber-coated tent carpets are permitted. A sample carpet is available for those unsure.

Amenities

Shared Facilities: Guests have access to wash facilities both indoors and outdoors, as well as free use of a washing machine, centrifuge, and refrigerator.
Gas BBQs Allowed: While open fires are prohibited, guests can use gas BBQs elevated from the ground.
Pet-Friendly: Well-behaved dogs are welcome for a small fee, but must be kept on a leash.
Quiet Hours: To maintain tranquility, guests are asked to avoid noise between 22:00 and 08:00.

De Hippe Kip offers several camping options:

Tent Place for 1: €20 p.n.
Tent Place for 2: €22.50 p.n.
Camper/Vouwwagen: Maximum length 7m, also available for €22.50 p.n. for 2 persons.
Special Discounts: Discounts available for longer stays and specific arrangements, especially during busy seasons like July and August.

The campground is located adjacent to a beautiful forest area that can be explored on foot. In spring, guests can admire the blooming wild orchids and experience the tranquility of a small pond. The nearby landscapes are perfect for hiking and cycling, with several routes available for guests.

Booking & Stay Information

The campground is open from April 17 to September 5, and reservations are recommended. Guests are welcome to arrive daily from 13:30 to 17:00 and must depart before 12:00.
