Campground Features

Site Capacity: The campground boasts a total of 82 sites, accommodating tents and RVs.
Nightly Fee: Camping fees are set at $33 per night. The RV park features a fee of $58 per night.
Dump Station: Available for $10 per use.
Reservation Policy: Campsites may be reserved up to 6 months in advance; however, sites are offered on a first-come, first-served basis during non-reservation periods.
Quiet Hours: Enjoy peaceful nights with enforced quiet hours from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

Amenities

Restrooms: Facilities include flush toilets and potable water during the open season, while pit toilets are available during the winter months.
Accessibility: Accessible vault toilets are located at the trailhead. The campground area itself, however, is not fully accessible.
Wildlife Management: Please refrain from feeding wildlife, as this is prohibited for the health of the animals and your safety.

RV Camping

The RV Park section provides gravel parking for 17 RV sites with limited privacy and back-in spaces only. The campground can accommodate RVs up to 35 feet, while the separate RV Park can accommodate vehicles ranging from 26 to 36 feet. Please note that operational conditions may limit certain road access for larger RVs.

Important Regulations

Prohibited Activities: All firearms use, including target shooting and hunting, is strictly prohibited within the park.
Fireworks: The use of fireworks and explosives is forbidden in the campground and the entire national park.
Camping Limit: A 14-day camping limit applies per year, with a maximum of 7 consecutive days allowed during peak reservation windows.

The campground typically operates from late April to late September, with specific opening dates varying each year. It is advisable to check seasonal availability and weather conditions prior to planning your visit.
