Accommodation Features

Big Creek Campground boasts a total of 30 standard nonelectric campsites, idyllic for families, solo adventurers, or groups seeking a place to connect with nature. Each site features:

• Gray water disposal facilities throughout the campground

The campsite loop design ensures a community feel while allowing for solitary moments among the trees. Each site is equipped to accommodate tents, trailers, and RVs, with a maximum vehicle length of 22 feet.

Accessible primarily from mid-May to late September, Big Creek Campground is perfect for those looking to escape the crowded campgrounds in nearby Mount Rainier National Park. Some sites are paved, while others feature native moss and dirt, providing unique settings for camping. It’s advisable to be mindful of rocky or heavy vegetation at certain locations, which may complicate tent-pitching.

Parking spurs at the campground cater to various vehicle sizes, and campers are advised to ensure their vehicles have a tight turning radius for easy maneuvering.

Campground Guidelines

To ensure a pleasant stay for all, Big Creek Campground has established some key guidelines:

• The camping fee covers the initial two vehicles; additional vehicles incur a fee of $8.00.
• Check-in time is 2 PM and check-out time is 12 PM (noon).
• No ATVs or OHVs are allowed on campground premises.
• Firewood is available for purchase at $10.00 per bundle.
• Please refrain from parking within the designated 100′ well exclusion area.

Essential Information

Visitors should note that while drinking water is available on-site, there are no hot showers. For a more immersive outdoor experience, gear rental options are available to help you equip for the great outdoors. Please remember to responsibly source firewood to prevent the spread of invasive species.

In case of cancellations, please be aware of the specific cancellation policies related to one-night reservations. Ensure you keep track of the reservation timeline to avoid forfeitures.
