Camp Edison features over 250 campsites, providing a variety of options for different camping experiences. Whether you’re arriving in an RV, tent, or camper van, Camp Edison accommodates all types of camping setups:

Full Hookup Sites: Designed for RVs equipped with water, sewer, and electrical connections, these sites allow for a comfortable camping experience. Tent camping is permitted here, provided it accompanies an RV.
Tent Campsites: While most campsites cater predominantly to RVs, select areas can accommodate medium and large tents, particularly sites 116 and 122, which are well-suited for larger setups.

Essential Policies and Guidelines

Guests planning to stay at Camp Edison must adhere to specific policies to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for all. Important rules include:

Check-in and Check-out: Check-in time is from 1 PM to 9:30 PM, and check-out time is at 11 AM.
Reservations: All sites must be paid in full at the time of booking. There is a two-night minimum stay during peak season (May 15 – October 15) and a maximum stay of 14 nights.
Conduct and Safety: Quiet hours are enforced between 10 PM and 7 AM to ensure a peaceful atmosphere. Fireworks and firearm use are strictly prohibited.

Amenities

Although Wi-Fi is no longer available at the campground, guests can enjoy natural recreational activities. Campfires are permitted in designated fire rings, allowing for cozy evening gatherings under the starry skies. Ensure that all refuse is disposed of in the provided containers to keep the environment clean.

Being in close proximity to Shaver Lake, guests can partake in various water-based activities such as swimming, fishing, and kayaking. However, caution is advised near dams and powerhouse areas. Bicycling and scooter riding are allowed on paved roads and designated trails, but all users under 16 must wear helmets. Off-road vehicles are not permitted within the campground.

Group Reservations

For those interested in group picnics, arrangements can be made via email to reserve a dedicated area. Note that at least 1,000 people are required to secure reservation for a group at Camp Edison.
