Camp Lotus is a stunning riverfront campground situated in the beautiful Coloma-Lotus Valley, surrounded by the picturesque Sierra Nevada Mountains. Spanning 23 acres along the South Fork of the American River, this family-owned destination offers something for everyone—from tranquil nature spots perfect for relaxation to a variety of adventure activities.

Accommodations

At Camp Lotus, guests can choose from a range of accommodations suited to every style and preference:

Tent Camping: Enjoy one of our 30 green, shaded tent campsites equipped with fire rings, drinkable water, and picnic tables, perfect for groups of 2 to 50.
RV Camping: Our 12 RV sites include hookups for electricity and fresh water, making them ideal for a comfortable outdoor experience.
Cabins and Bell Tents: Choose from one of our six climate-controlled cabins, including luxurious lakeside glamping options such as the Riverside Bell Tent, or cozy up in our Mokelumne, Consumnes, or Yuba cabins.

Event Facilities: The charming event hall, “The Barn,” is available for indoor gatherings and celebrations, accommodating a variety of events year-round.

Deli and Store: The Camp Lotus Deli serves delicious baked goods, sandwiches, and refreshments, while our store offers camping supplies, local wines, and unique gifts.

Camp Lotus is committed to sustainability and environmental stewardship. The campground practices include:

No pesticide use; organic practices are implemented to maintain natural habitats.
Upgrading to solar power and maintaining a native plant environment to promote local wildlife.
Enforcement of a strict NO dogs policy to ensure a peaceful atmosphere for all guests.
All campers are informed of quiet hours which extend from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. to enhance the experience for everyone.

Booking Your Stay

Camp Lotus opens for the 2024 season on March 1, with a gate that remains open from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Reservations are highly recommended for all weekend camping, with a refundable deposit policy for bookings made at least 10 days in advance. Rates for tent and RV sites start at $60 per night.
