Camping Sever is a beautifully located campground nestled on the outskirts of the scenic area of Chlum u Třeboň, approximately 15 km east of the famous spa town of Třeboň. This delightful site sits directly on the banks of the stunning Hejtman Lake, which spans 82 hectares, providing guests with a stunning natural backdrop for their outdoor adventures.

Covering an area of 1.5 hectares, Camping Sever features a well-maintained and enclosed facility partially surrounded by lush trees. The campground offers:

• 70 Camp Sites: All equipped with electrical outlets (6A).
• 14 Cozy Cabins: Each cabin can accommodate up to four guests and includes bed linens, a refrigerator, an electric stove, and a kettle.
• Sanitary Facilities: Modern facilities with hot water showers for a comfortable stay.
• Eating Options: A snack kiosk serving warm meals, draught beer, ice cream, and other refreshments.
• Recreational Activities: Two sports fields offering various sports activities, a children’s corner, and a rowing boat for family fun on the lake.

Camping Sever is perfectly situated amidst the breathtaking landscapes of the South Bohemian region, characterized by deep forests and numerous lakes, forming part of the Třeboň Protected Landscape Area. The area is a paradise for cycling enthusiasts, with a network of well-marked cycling paths weaving through the scenic countryside and around picturesque fish ponds.

Just 2 km from the campground is a border crossing into Austria, making it an ideal base for exploring two countries. The gentle, sandy bottom of Hejtman Lake is particularly safe for children, making it a great spot for family swimming. Not to mention, the area is renowned for its excellent fishing opportunities, especially during non-summer seasons.

Season and Reservations

Camping Sever operates from April 1st to October 31st. The campground offers flexible reservation policies that allow for various types of accommodation requests. During peak season, from June 29 to August 10, guests are encouraged to book weekly stays in the cabins. Outside of this period, weekend getaways or midweek escapes are also welcome. For guests seeking to enjoy a lively camping experience while staying close to nature, making reservations in advance is advisable.
