Nestled within the picturesque Pikes Peak Ranger District in central Colorado, Pike Community Campground is a fantastic camping destination perfectly suited for groups looking to enjoy the beauty of nature together. Located about 6 miles north of Woodland Park, the campground is surrounded by a stunning ponderosa pine forest at an elevation of 7,700 feet, providing a tranquil environment for outdoor enthusiasts of all ages.

Available Campsites

Pike Community features one large group site designed to accommodate up to 100 people and 48 vehicles. The campsite is fully equipped with:

Picnic and serving tables
Grills for outdoor cooking
A communal campfire circle

Additionally, essential amenities are available for guests, including vault toilets, drinking water, and trash collection. For any assistance, a campground host is conveniently located across the road at South Meadows Campground.

Recreation

Pike Community Campground offers a variety of recreational activities to keep guests entertained, including:

A baseball field
A sand volleyball court
A horseshoe pit

Campers are encouraged to bring their own sports equipment to fully enjoy these facilities. The beautifully maintained Centennial Trail, a paved and accessible recreation trail, connects the campsite to the nearby Manitou Lake Picnic Area, as well as Colorado and South Meadows Campgrounds, making it ideal for hikers, rollerbladers, and bicyclists alike.
