Located along Highway 244, Silver Lake Campground is easily accessible while still providing a serene and secluded ambiance, putting visitors close to breathtaking natural scenery. The campground is surrounded by the beautiful Mescalero Apache tribal lands, offering a unique cultural experience.

Camping Options

Silver Lake Campground offers diverse camping options designed to accommodate a range of preferences and group sizes:

• Tent Camping: Enjoy the great outdoors with tent sites available for $35 per night for the first two people (additional guests at $2 each).
• RV Camping: Spacious RV sites priced at $55 for the first two guests (additional guests at $2 per night). Monthly RV rates are available at $1,200 for extended stays.
• Picnic Areas: Perfect for day outings, picnic areas are available for $20 per day from 6 AM to 8 PM, providing a great spot for family gatherings and social activities.

Fishing Adventures

For fishing aficionados, Silver Lake is a prime location with fishing permits available for $15 per pole. Guests are allowed to catch up to five fish per permit, making it a fantastic location to reel in some local catches. Enjoy the tranquility of the water while soaking in the stunning views of the surrounding landscape.

Facilities and Amenities

The campground provides essential amenities to enhance your camping experience:

• Silver Store: Operating hours from 8 AM to 4 PM ensure that campers have access to necessary supplies and refreshments.
• Wood Bundles: Available for $12, perfect for campfires and cooking.
• First-Come, First-Serve Basis: Campsites are available on a first-come, first-serve basis, allowing for a spontaneous adventure.
