Located at Mile 173.3 along the historic Chesapeake and Ohio Canal Towpath, Spring Gap Campground offers a serene retreat nestled in the lush mountains of Western Maryland, near the charming city of Cumberland. Campsite Details

The campground features 12 single drive-in campsites and 2 group sites, providing ample options for both small and larger groups:

• Single Campsites: Sites 1, 2, 8, 11, and 13 accommodate a single vehicle, while sites 3-7, 12, and 14 can fit RVs or trailers up to 20 feet.
• Group Campsites: Sites 9 and 10 cater to groups of up to 30 people and include a designated area for two vehicles.
• Each campsite is furnished with a picnic table, fire pit, and grill.
• All campsites can accommodate up to eight people per site.

• Restroom Facilities: Pit and portable toilets available.
• Water Supply: Hand pump water is accessible from April 15 to November 1.
• Trash Policy: This is a Trash Free Park; campers are required to pack out all of their trash.
