Camping Options

Chester Lakes boasts a range of camping options designed to cater to various needs:

• Tents: Please note that dogs are not permitted in tents.
• Caravans: Guests are advised to pitch caravans at least 6 metres apart to comply with fire regulations.
• Pods: All pods must be vacated by 10am on the day of departure unless otherwise agreed with management.

Fishing Opportunities

The campground features seven fishing lakes that are open to the public, providing a serene setting for both experienced anglers and novices. Here are some key details about the fishing options:

• Day Sessions: Available from 8am to 7.30pm for £10 per person, which includes up to 2 rods and a bivvy pitch.
• Overnight Sessions: Available from 8am to 7.30am for £30 per person, which also includes up to 2 rods and a bivvy pitch. An additional £5 fee applies for one spectator overnight.
• Note: Under 18s are not permitted to night fish on pleasure lakes.

Amenities and Rules

Chester Lakes offers essential amenities to enhance your camping experience:

• Electricity Supply: All pitches have a limited supply of 16 amps. Caution is advised when using household appliances.
• BBQ Guidelines: Only lump wood charcoal is allowed for BBQs to minimize dust and fumes. Disposable BBQs must be mounted on stands.
• Waste Management: All household waste should be disposed of in the recycling bins located throughout the site.
• CCTV Monitoring: The campground operates a 24-hour CCTV system for the safety of guests and staff.

General Guidelines for Guests

To ensure an enjoyable experience for all guests, Chester Lakes has established several important guidelines:

• Guests must report to reception upon arrival. Entry is permitted from 1pm.
• Smoking is not permitted in any buildings or tents.
• Fires, Chinese lanterns, and fireworks are strictly prohibited.
• Minors must be fully supervised at all times.
• Cycling through the site is allowed on non-motorised bicycles, but bicycles must be ridden safely.
