Located on the scenic Pajarito Plateau within Bandelier National Monument, the Juniper Family Campground offers visitors a unique camping experience surrounded by stunning natural beauty and rich cultural history. Campground Features

• Individual Campsites: The campground comprises 53 individual campsites that accommodate families and small groups. Individual sites are only $20/night, with a 50% discount available for Interagency Senior and Lifetime Access pass holders.
• Group Campsites: Two group campsites are available for larger gatherings, accommodating up to 20 people for $50/night. These sites are available by advanced reservation only.
• Camping Loops: The campground is divided into three loops, each featuring its own comfort station with restrooms and running water. Note that looping C (Coyote Loop) is seasonally closed from November 1 to March 1.

• Water Spigots: Potable water is available through centrally located water spigots in each loop, though showers are not provided.

Regulations and Accessibility

To ensure the safety and enjoyment of all campers, there are a few important regulations:

• Food must be secured when not in use, and campsites should be kept clean to avoid attracting local wildlife.
• Pets are allowed but must be kept on a leash at all times, and are not permitted on park trails.
• The campground features designated quiet hours from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM, and generator usage is limited to 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
• Check-in time is at 1:00 PM and check-out by 11:30 AM.
