    Getting There

    Traveling to Lower Fir Group Campground is straightforward. From Alamogordo, take US 82 East and continue for about 17 miles past Cloudcroft. Turn left onto NM 244, go approximately 1 mile, then turn right onto Forest Road 422. After about a quarter mile, the campground will be on your left.

    Reservations: It’s essential to make reservations ahead of time, as preferred dates can fill up quickly. Please arrive before check-out time (noon) the day after your arrival to hold your reservation.
