• Outdoor amenities, including a picnic table and campfire ring for al fresco dining

This historic cabin, constructed in 1907, was formerly a Forest Service Ranger Station and has endured as a charming retreat for generations. With its captivating backdrop and rich history, Moose Creek Cabin serves as a rejuvenating escape.

The cabin is perfectly positioned, just 11.4 miles from Helena, next to Moose Creek which hosts a variety of fish species including redear sunfish, rainbow trout, and brook trout, making it a fantastic spot for fishing enthusiasts. Accessibility & Amenities

To find the cabin, guests must park on the adjacent road and use a footbridge to access the cabin. Vehicles are not permitted within the fenced area to preserve the surrounding environment. The cabin can be accessed year-round, but it is essential to check for road or fire restrictions before your visit by contacting the local ranger district.

Due to the remote location, please remember to bring:

• Sleeping bags for your comfort
