Campground Features

• Reserved Campsites: Each campsite comes equipped with a tent pad, grill, and picnic table, ensuring comfort and convenience during your stay.
• Restroom Facilities: Campers have access to restrooms with hot indoor showers, enhancing the overall camping experience.
• Beach Access: Located on a beautiful island, the campground allows easy access to sandy beaches for swimming and sunbathing.
• Fire Pit: Gather around a large communal fire ring for evenings of storytelling and warmth (controlled fires are permitted after sunset under supervision).

Campsite Reservations

Campsites are available for reservation on a first-come, first-served basis, and it is advisable to book up to 90 days in advance to secure your spot. Each household is limited to reserving a maximum of two sites at a time, allowing for a maximum stay of three nights every two months.

• Single Campsite: $30.00 per night ($33.90 with tax)
• Expanded Campsite: $60.00 per night ($67.80 with tax)
• Firewood: Available for purchase at $10.50 ($11.24 with tax) – cashless transactions preferred.

Camping Regulations

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all visitors, Peanut Island Campground has established several rules:

• Camping is permitted only by reservation; walk-ins are not accepted.
• Electricity is not available; therefore, it is important to note that extension cords and generators are prohibited.
• Quiet hours are from 11:00 PM until sunrise, ensuring a peaceful atmosphere for all guests.
• Sleeping is permitted only within tents – open-air sleeping is prohibited.
• Pets are allowed, provided they are leashed and attended to at all times, with a maximum limit of two pets per site.

• Water Taxi Service: Convenient transportation options to and from the island are available through local private water taxi services.
