Located in the stunning Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest at an elevation of 9,000 feet, Rainbow Campground offers an incredible outdoor experience amidst the scenic beauty of the White Mountains. Rainbow Campground is the largest camping facility in the Big Lake Recreation Area, featuring a total of 165 campsites organized into six loops. The camping options include:

- Double and Group sites: Accommodating larger groups, the four double sites can host up to 16 people each.
- Accessible sites: Two single unit accessible sites are also available for visitors with mobility challenges.
