Accommodations
The cabin can accommodate up to six people, with a log bunk bed and futon that provides a single mattress above and a double mattress below. Additional guests can sleep on the floor using their own sleeping bags and pads. The warm and inviting interior features electric lighting, a gas fireplace, and electric wall heaters to keep you comfortable regardless of the season.

- Kitchen: Fully equipped with an electric stove, refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, and necessary utensils.
- Restroom: An outhouse located just 50 feet from the cabin.
- Outdoor Features: Picnic tables, a fire ring, and breathtaking views from the front porch.
- Water: No drinking water is available; renters must bring their own or treat water from Fishhook Creek.

Accessibility
It’s important to note that the Redfish Cabin is not ADA accessible, and guests should prepare for a rustic experience without modern conveniences like Wi-Fi or telephone service. Cell service may be intermittent in the area.
Seasons & Access
Access to Redfish Cabin varies by season:
- Fall Access (October 15 – November 30): If Redfish Lake Road is clear of snow, parking is available at the Redfish Lake Visitor Center, followed by a short trail walk to reach the cabin.
- Winter Access (December 1 – April 14): Reach the cabin via a 2.25 mile trek by ski, snowshoe, or snowmobile. No vehicles can access the cabin during this period.

Redfish Lake is known for its rich ecosystem and stunning landscapes. The area has a fascinating history, with prehistoric hunters having used the location for millennia. Today, it serves as a prime spot for various outdoor activities:

Before your visit, please be aware of the following:
- Maximum of six people allowed in the cabin.
- Guests should pack in all supplies (including food, toilet paper, and personal items) and follow a “pack it in, pack it out” policy for trash.
- Pets are allowed but must be kept off furniture, and guests should clean up after them.
- Firewood should be sourced locally to prevent the spread of tree-killing pests.
