Positioned on a picturesque riverside terrace above Layng Creek, this campground is ideal for those looking to immerse themselves in nature while enjoying modern conveniences. With a backdrop of Douglas fir and other hardwood trees, Rujada provides a refreshing escape at an elevation of approximately 1,200 feet.

Available Campsites

The campground features 15 standard non-electric campsites, each designed to offer both privacy and accessibility to the beautiful surroundings. Each site is equipped with:

• Picnic tables
• Campfire rings
• Flush toilets
• Running water
• Garbage collection

A friendly campground host is typically present during the summer season, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for guests.

Camp, RV, and Explore Outdoors

Rujada Campground is not only perfect for tent camping; it is also a suitable location for RV camping, though please note that water and electric hookups are not available. The serene banks of Layng Creek offer excellent opportunities for swimming and relaxation, while the surrounding forest invites exploration.

• Moon Falls: A gentle 0.5-mile trek to a 125-foot cascading waterfall.
• Pinard Falls: A demanding 0.6-mile hike to a 105-foot waterfall.

These trails are within 10 miles of the campground and can be enjoyed on the same day for a perfect outing.
