Need to Know

Due to the presence of black bears in the area, all food must be kept in approved containers to ensure safety. Additionally, the campground operates on a first-come, first-served basis for site occupancy. Please be aware that opening and closing dates are heavily dependent on weather conditions.

Traveling to Trumbull Lake Campground involves a scenic drive of approximately 13.5 miles south of Bridgeport on Highway 395. Turn right at Conway Summit and travel 5.9 miles on Forest Road 21 until the asphalt turns to gravel, where you will find the campground entrance.
