Nestled on the shores of Lake Red Rock in Pella, Iowa, Wallashuck Campground is a beautiful outdoor destination perfect for campers seeking adventure and relaxation in nature. This scenic campground is well-equipped to cater to your camping needs, offering a diverse range of activities and amenities that make it an ideal getaway for families, friends, and nature enthusiasts alike.

Available Campsites

Wallashuck Campground features a total of 83 campsites, all equipped with electric hookups to accommodate RVs and tents. Visitors can choose between various site types, including:

• Standard Electric Sites in Loop WOOD
• Standard Electric Sites in Loop WALLASHUCK
• Standard Electric Sites in Loop PGRO

Camping units are limited to one wheeled unit and up to two tents, or three tents per site, with a maximum of eight persons allowed per campsite. Check-in is available from 2:00 p.m. with check-out by 12:00 p.m.

The campground is surrounded by the stunning beauty of hardwood forests and the expansive Lake Red Rock, offering a serene environment filled with plentiful wildlife. Activities for guests include:

• Boating and water skiing
• Fishing for various species, including crappie, bass, and catfish
• Swimming in designated areas
• Hiking and biking along scenic trails, including the 15-mile paved Volksweg Trail
• Wildlife viewing, with opportunities to see migratory birds like the American White Pelican and Bald Eagles during winter months

Campground Amenities

Wallashuck Campground is equipped with several essential amenities to ensure a comfortable stay, including:

• Flush and pit toilets
• Showers for freshening up after outdoor adventures
• Drinking water available throughout the campground
• Dump station for RV users
• Playground facilities for children

Please note that golf carts, UTVs, and ATVs are not permitted on campground grounds for the safety and enjoyment of all guests.

Important Information

When planning your visit, please keep in mind the following:

• A $10.00 service fee applies for any changes or cancellations of reservations.
• Reservations are required prior to occupying a campsite—no walk-ins are allowed.
• A limited supply of firewood is available for purchase at the campground, but guests are encouraged to bring their own. Out-of-state firewood is not permitted.
