Available Campsites

The campground features a range of individual campsites designed for tent camping. Each site is equipped with essential amenities to enhance your outdoor experience:

• Food storage container to keep your provisions safe from wildlife

Note: Campers are advised that no cars are permitted within the campground and camping is prohibited in the parking area. A maximum of one vehicle is allowed per campsite, and parking space is limited. Be prepared to walk gear up to 0.25 miles from the parking area to your campsite.

Facilities and Amenities

While Camp Gateway does not offer showers, visitors will find clean bathroom facilities equipped with flushable toilets and sinks. Outdoor rinse showers are available at the beach centers, providing a convenient way to clean off after a day in the sun and sand.

Firewood is available for purchase at the camping check-in office, and outside wood collection is prohibited. Campers should store all food and scented items in the provided lockers to avoid attracting local raccoons.

Reservations for camping at Camp Gateway for the upcoming season will be available starting March 1, 2025. Cancellations and changes to reservations are subject to a $10.00 service fee. Please ensure provisions regarding late arrivals and no-shows are understood, as fees may apply for missed reservations.

Alcohol, smoking, and pets are prohibited within the campground to maintain a family-friendly and safe environment.

Campers must be at least 18 years old to reserve a campsite and are encouraged to bring their license plate information for check-in.
