Groom Creek Horse Camp features a total of 30 campsites distributed across three loops:
- Loop A: First-come, first-served campsites
- Loop B: Reservable with 15 sites, including a group picnic area
- Loop C: Reservable with 15 sites, including another group site
Each campsite is equipped with essential amenities including:
- Steel fire rings for safe campfires
- Steel corrals for horse accommodation (16×16 feet)
- An overhead tether line for tying horses
- Picnic tables for outdoor dining

The campground is primarily designed for equestrian campers, and those without horses are encouraged to reserve accommodations at different campgrounds. The facilities are not accessible for persons with disabilities, and visitors should note:
- Quiet hours are observed from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.
- Maximum stay is 14 days within a 30-day period.
- Pets are welcome but must be kept on a 6-foot leash or in a cage.
- All smoking must be done in enclosed vehicles or developed recreation sites.
