Getting There

Olson Park Campground is conveniently accessible from Interstate 90. Simply take Exit 42, head south on County Road 25, continue onto County Road 35, then go west for one mile. Finally, turn south on Crailsheim Road (County Road 10) and drive two miles to reach the park. With its easy accessibility, you can quickly escape to this nature-filled oasis.

• Water Supply: Water is available at the shelter house, dump station, and one central hydrant.
• Restroom Facilities: Modern, handicap-accessible restrooms are available for your convenience.
• Wifi Access: Wireless internet access was added in 2016, allowing you to stay connected while enjoying nature.
• Playground Equipment: A well-maintained playground is perfect for children, having been installed in 2001.
• Dog Park: A designated area for your furry friends can be found at the southern entrance of the park.
• Wild Flower Native Prairie: Explore the native flora on the southern property entrance for a closer look at the local environment.

Camping Rates

Olson Park Campground is open from April 1st to October 31st. The camping rates are affordable and designed to accommodate various guests:

• Non-electric sites: $23.00 per day
• Electric sites: $30.00 per day
• Premium sites (1-12 along the bay): $35.00 per day
• Weekly rate: $200.00
• Monthly rate: $700.00

A Brief History

Established in 1950, Olson Park was named after the generous donation of 55.1 acres by industrialist E.O. Olson and his wife, Bella H. Olson.
